The following pages will outline the criteria used by eVALUEator Services to determine which companies violate our moral screening guidelines. Philosophy
Relatively few companies violate our moral and ethical screening process. For example, there are approximately 7,500 publicly traded companies which are deemed large enough for prudent investment selection. Out of that universe, only 7% violate eVALUEator Services moral and ethical screens. That leaves approximately 93% of the securities universe from which investment managers and/or individual investors concerned about moral issues can choose.

Those companies that violate the screens generally do so because of decisions made at the corporate level. Scripture clearly indicates that there are none righteous and we all fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one.” KJV). Therefore, if a company is found to be passively unrighteous, that does not necessarily cause them to be placed on our violation list. If, however, a company is found to be pursuing what eVALUEator Services deems to be an un-Godly agenda, they are placed on our violation list until that company discontinues those actions.

eVALUEator Services, LC maintains a list consisting of four cultural screens and three consumer screens.

Abortion
eVALUEator Services screens companies which are directly or indirectly involved in the abortion industry. These screens include companies involved in the following:

• Pharmaceutical companies that manufacture or produce abortifacients (abortion causing), or abortion related products.

• Insurance companies that create and/or market health policies which pay for voluntary/elective abortions when not mandated by national, state or local statute.

• Health Sector companies that have one or more properties/facilities performing elective abortions when not mandated by national, state or local statute.

• Companies that demonstrate a pattern of Corporate Philanthropy to Planned Parenthood, America’s single largest provider of elective abortions.

• Companies that perform induced Fetal Tissue Research and/or experimentation.

Pornography
eVALUEator Services screens companies which are directly or indirectly involved in the production and/or distribution of pornographic material or services.

• Companies that Produce pornographic media in film, print, or electronic formats.

• Companies that Distribute pornographic material to the public.

• Internet Companies that contain and/or facilitate pornographic content.

• Companies that engage in the “Adult Entertainment” industry.

Anti-Family Entertainment
eVALUEator Services screens companies which are involved in the business of entertainment contrary to traditional family values.

• Companies that Produce video, audio, print, or live entertainment that is violent, vulgar, sexually explicit/suggestive, glorifying rape or abuse, or mock Judeo-Christian traditions and/or beliefs.

• Companies that Advertise on programs promoting anti-family values on prime-time television.

Non-Traditional Lifestyles
eVALUEator Services screens companies that elevate non-traditional marriage lifestyles to that of one man and one woman living together in Holy matrimony.

• Companies that Support gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and/or trans-gendered lifestyles, observe a non-discrimination policy established to protect non-traditional sexual orientation, have a diversity training program designed to incorporate the gay agenda, officially recognize gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and trans-gendered employee groups and/or provide financial support for gay and lesbian organizations or events.

Alcohol
eVALUEator Services screens companies that produce alcoholic beverages.

Tobacco
eVALUEator Services screens companies that produce tobacco related products.

Gambling
eVALUEator Services screens companies that are involved the gambling industry.
